Before that attack on the GOP congressional baseball team practice on Wednesday, it seemed like nothing could bring this country together.  But now there's this: TED NUGENT has vowed to leave the hateful rhetoric behind. You know, like how he told PRESIDENT OBAMA to suck on his machine gun . . . or invited HILLARY CLINTON to straddle it?  Yeah, that's not happening anymore. In a radio interview yesterday he said, quote, "I'm not going to engage in that kind of hateful rhetoric anymore . . ."I just can't use those harsh terms.  I cannot and I will not and I encourage even my friends (slash) enemies on the left in the Democrat, liberal world that we have got to be civil to each other . . . we have got to be more respectful to the other side." He also promised to, quote, "avoid anything that can be interpreted as condoning or referencing violence."

Farm Aid returns to PA on September 16, 2017, featuring  WILLIE NELSON, JOHN MELLENCAMP, NEIL YOUNG, DAVE MATTHEWS and a host of other artists. ******************** All these years later, it looks like YOKO ONO is getting a songwriting credit on "Imagine". ******************** After 30 years, NEIL YOUNG may be done hosting that Bridge School Benefit concert. There won't be one this year. ******************** TOTO are prepping for a big 2018 - they'll be celebrating their 40th anniversary. There will be a tour and a new compilation CD of remastered hits from their catalog, as well as new tunes. ******************** METALLICA'S JAMES HETFIELD, LARS ULRICH, KIRK HAMMETT & ROBERT TRUJILLO  are being produced as stylized POP! vinyl figures from Funko! Each figure stands 3 3/4 inches and comes in a window display box. They're coming in August and are now available for pre-order on the band's website. ******************** STEVIE NICKS  has a brand new song out. It's called “Your Hand I Will Never Let It Go”, and it's featured in this weekend's film release The Book of Henry. Check it out.
