Don't worry, the anesthetist has been warned! I'm kind of nervous but that's how it goes I guess.  This surgery has nothing to do with my voice, or my throat, at all, but it IS singing related. After years of doing what I do, rock 'n' roll has taken a toll on a part of my body, and tomorrow I am going to get it fixed.  Wish me luck! I'll see you on tour. **************************************** KID ROCK said the announcement he's running for Senate is NOT a publicity stunt.  And he suggested that any music he puts out will be PART of his Senate campaign.  Quote, "Like politicians [who] write books during their campaigns, I'm planning on putting out music during mine." ***************************************** ALICE COOPER is getting the DVD treatment for his '76 concert film Welcome to My Nightmare. It's set for release on September 8. **************************************** There's been a FREDDIE MERCURY biopic in the works for many years, but now QUEEN's BRIAN MAY says that it's closer to actually happening than ever before. ***************************************** DOKKEN is planning to hit the studio in the fall, with the hopes of releasing a new album in 2018. ***************************************** Another Red Rocker party of epic proportions is coming! SAMMY HAGAR will celebrate his 70th birthday on October 13th, and his annual Birthday Bash at Cabo Wabo Cantina is being planned out. He hasn't released the names of his special musical guests yet, but there will be four shows performed - get the details on his website. **************************************** EUROPE has plans to release a new album in early October 2017.
