There are a lot things in the works for QUEEN fans. On November 17, the band will release a 40th anniversary deluxe edition/box set of News of the World, which will include extras like bonus tracks, a DVD documentary and a very cool alternate version of the original album. Also, MIKE MYERS might join the cast of the QUEEN movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" . . . which is interesting, because Mike helped give the SONG "Bohemian Rhapsody" a new life with "Wayne's World" in 1992. *************************************** Following the unexpected death of guitarist STEVE HOWE'S youngest son Virgil, YES has cancelled the rest of their Yestival tour dates. The band did announce that they will be back on the road next year to celebrate their 50th anniversary. *************************************** Certain versions of the new GREGG ALLMAN album "Southern Blood" will come with artwork containing Gregg's ACTUAL BLOOD.  It's not a stunt they pulled just because he died before it came out.  It was Gregg's idea, and he sent the artist vials of his blood a few years ago. *************************************** During a recent show, BOB SEGER announced that he is releasing a new album in November. *************************************** ERIC CLAPTON has gotten the documentary treatment. Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars, directed by Oscar-winner Lili Fini Zanuck, is an unflinching and deeply personal look into the life of legendary 18-time Grammy winner. It will have a world premiere at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival, then will air on SHOWTIME on February 10, 2018. Check out the trailer: ************************************** DONALD FAGEN announced the first STEELY DAN shows since the death of WALTER BECKER. ************************************** GENE SIMMONS will share the stage with former KISS guitarist ACE FREHLEY for the first time in 16 years.  Ace will join Gene's solo band for a charity concert in Minnesota next weekend. *************************************** The FOO FIGHTERS covered AC/DC's "Let There Be Rock" at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
