Which band should advance to the next round?
It's time for the WSFL Big Bowl of Rock and Roll!
It's the eagerly anticipated battle of rock bands to see who the champion will be, and it's all up to you. The bands roll onto the rock and roll gridiron January 21st through February 1st.
Listen Monday through Friday from 10am till 6pm, with an hour off for lunch - at the top of every hour, two rockers will go head to head. Your vote decides who will move on to the next round and who heads to the locker room to dream about next year. You can vote by calling 252-633-1065 or toll free at 1-866-484-1065; votes will be taken here on our website; and you can text your vote too! Text the word 'vote' then leave a space, and type in the band you want to vote for. Your texted vote will be counted and you'll also be signed up for the WSFL Mobile Workforce when you vote, so you can get inside info on contests and concerts. (Message data rates apply)
The winning band each hour moves on to face a new challenger in the next round until we're down to just two rock and roll competitors - only one can be crowned Big Bowl Champion, and that band will be in the spotlight all weekend long leading up to the big game on February 3rd. Your 2012 champion, AC/DC, will be back for another shot at the title – you will determine if they can be crowned again, so vote for your favorite!
