The new ALICE IN CHAINS album will be called “Rainier Frog”, and it’s coming out August 24th.  The band dropped a new song called “So Far Under”.

ALICE COOPER is a busy guy. He’s working with the HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES, doing a tour, making an appearance at Raleigh Supercon, and he has a live album on the way. A Paranormal Evening at the Olympia Paris  is tentatively set for release on August 31. The set was recorded in December of last year.

Coming September 7, Yes, 50th Anniversary Live at the Apollo. This particular anniversary celebration comes courtesy of YES FEATURING ANDERSON RABIN WAKEMEN.

As part of LED ZEPPELIN‘s 50th anniversary celebration, The Song Remains the Same is being reissued on September 7. The band has released a remaster of “Black Dog” from that set.

SAMMY HAGAR says that he invited DAVID LEE ROTH to be part of his “High Tide Beach Party & Car Show” that’s happening in October on the west coast. Last we heard, DLR had not responded.

DEE SNIDER has released another track from his upcoming solo album, For the Love of Metal. The album is due out on July 27 – check out “Become the Storm”.

TED NUGENT is not only touring, but says he plans to release a solo album, The Music Made Me Do It, very soon.
