ALEX LIFESON from the now-defunct RUSH says he doesn’t want to be in a band or tour again. 

METALLICA will perform with the San Francisco Symphony this summer, to mark the 20th anniversary of“S&M“ . . . the live album they did together back in the day.  It’s happening at San Francisco’s new Chase Center arena, the future home of the Golden State Warriors.

In a recent interview, JOHNNY VAN ZANT said that LYNYRD SKYNYRD basically have a new album wrapped up, as well as a planned CD/DVD release of their final show in Jacksonville, FL.

TED NUGENT will be on the road for a handful of dates this summer. The Music Made Me Do It Again! tour runs from July to August, but there are no dates in our area at the moment.
