Good News

Someone posted a video of dogs escaping from some sort of doggy day care, and joked that the dog REBELLION just started.  One dog figured out how to climb the fence of a big pen they were all in, then the other dogs realized they could do it too……………Remember back when ALL fire stations had dogs?  The city of Winnipeg in the Canadien province of Manitoba is bringing that idea back, using shelter dogs to boost morale and alleviate stress. The Station Doggie Dates initiative also builds awareness about the city’s adoption program in an effort to find forever homes for more dogs……………..And finally……………………….

The Michigan Animal Rescue League in Pontiac, Michigan is a pretty cool place. They have an enrichment program for their animals, to keep their brains and bodies healthy, and they have a Community Outreach program  to help keep animals with the families who love them. They recently posted a video after treating their dogs to “Chicken Nugget Day“.  Every dog got a nugget, and they recorded each one to help boost adoptions.
