A guy in New Jersey named Vincent Dransfield is in the news, because he recently turned 109 and feels great.  He still drives, volunteers at his local fire department, where he used to be chief, and looks a LOT younger than his age. He says the secret is to stay positive, do the things you love, and drink lots of milk.  He also still has a beer every now and then.  (Here’s an interview.)………………. The vodka brand Tito’s just launched a new program called Vodka for Dog People, where they’re selling special merch to support animal charities. Items include Tito’s-branded dog toys, leashes, and a fanny pack that holds three mini-bottles of vodka.  So you can keep drinking while you take them on walks.  Just make sure you’re in a place where it’s legal to drink.  (Here’s a video.)……………..And finally…………… 

Remember Murphy, the bald eagle at a sanctuary in Missouri that thought a rock was an egg?  He went viral a few weeks ago, and now there’s an update.  His rock never hatched . . . but he did get a baby. He got so protective of the rock, he had to be moved to a different enclosure away from the other eagles.  And around the same time, someone brought in an eagle chick that got blown out of its nest by strong winds. They put it in with Murphy, and he immediately took to it.  He’s been feeding it fish, and they say the two of them are “bonding beautifully.”  It’s the first time he’s ever been a dad.  (Here’s a video.)
