A 15-year-old girl got attacked by a shark on the Florida panhandle on Friday.  But luckily, several nurses and two doctors happened to be on the beach . . . and they tied tourniquets to her leg and hand and saved her life………………. A crossing guard in New York known as Miss Maggie is being celebrated online after announcing she’ll finally retire this month at 90 years young.  She’s been a crossing guard at the same school in Brooklyn since 1978.  When she started, Jimmy Carter was president, the Bee Gees were topping the charts, and “Grease” was the #1 movie in America.  She says “I’ve been working all my life.  It’s time to travel.”………….And finally………..

Two guys and a guide were out fishing on a lake in MS and ended up catching something else – 38 dogs. They spotted them swimming in a group a mile from land, motored over and loaded 27 dogs into the boat and took them to shore. They then went back and rescued the other 11. It turned out they were fox-hunting dogs that followed a deer into the water and just kept swimming. When it was all over the hunters and dog owners tried to give them money for their effort. The guide turned down the offers and told them “When you see us in trouble, ya’ll come help us.”
