It’s summertime and the fish are biting.  If you are worried about the heat go early in the morning or late afternoon til dusk.  On the freshwater side the bass fishing is good on buzz baits, whopper ploppers and spinnerbaits.  The bream are eating crickets, night crawlers and Mepp’s spinners.  the crappie and hitting on jigs and minnows and the catfish are being caught on pretty much every kind of live bait or cut bait.  

Saltwater anglers are catching good numbers of croakers, blue fish, spanish mackerel, sea mullet, hogfish, spots, and puppy drum.

Off shore you can expect to load up on red and silver snapper, triggerfish, amberjack and black sea bass bottom fishing.  Trolling for kings, wahoo, dolphin, tuna and even a few sailfish are being caught.
