A woman in Alabama named Helen Denmark turned 108 on Sunday, and said she stays young by “drinking wine, eating dessert, and flirting with men with mustaches.”…………. A 12-year-old kid in Rhode Island named Alex Dupuis saved a classmate from drowning during a field trip in June. Both of his parents are first responders with his local fire department, so it runs in the family.  But he stayed humble, saying “anyone could have done what [he] did.”……………And finally…………. 

Two orphaned puppies, Yin and Yang, found a new family with a cat and her kitten at a shelter in TX.  The puppies were born at the shelter, but unfortunately the mother passed away. Cat Julie Newmar and her kitten, Eartha Kitt, were brought in shortly after the puppies’ birth and took the pups into their family. Someone from the shelter said the cat doesn’t even like dogs, but she jumped into mommy-mode and has been taking care of the little puppies ever since.
