A convention for “furries” broke a fundraising record last weekend in Pittsburgh.  Guests at Anthrocon donated $100,000 to a group called Gray Paws Sanctuary that rescues and cares for senior dogs…… A tow truck driver in Ohio recently helped cops save a kitten that got stuck between two wheels of a big rig.  The trucker spotted it while doing his pre-trip inspection.  He joked that now his boss has proof he actually does those checks…….And finally………… 

A child in Canada dropped a postcard to her grandma into a mailbox . . . but forgot to add the stamp.  She was at a camp at the time, and one of the workers helped her put a sign on the mailbox, alerting the mailperson.  And they even included a stamp with it. The mailperson saw the sign . . . spent some time digging through all the mail to find the postcard . . . and put the stamp on it for the girl.
