An Asheville Red Lobster accidentally received a lobster that looked pre-cooked.  Orange lobsters are rare, only around 1 in every 30 million are that color, but it’s the second orange lobster they’ve dealt with this month.  Another orange one showed up at a Red Lobster in Colorado a few weeks ago. Both lobsters had their lives spared.  The first one went to an aquarium in Denver, and this one went to an aquarium in Tennessee……………… A SC woman tossed a lottery ticket in the trash after she scratched it off and thought it was a loser.  But then her husband saw it in there, doubled-checked it, and realized they’d won $200,000.  They’re now shopping for their dream home…………………And finally……………

A bit of good news from the Park Fire, burning in CA. A rescue crew saved a Rottweiler and four puppies who had been stranded in the blaze. After the owner’s truck broke down, they provided responders with the location of the dogs, and Trevor Skaggs, a member of the county’s search and rescue team, flew there by helicopter and ran 1.5 miles to where the dogs were last seen. Skaggs got them to follow him back to the helicopter, and they were flown out and are now being cared for by the North Valley Animal Disaster Group, which is looking after horses, pigs and other animals affected by the fire.
