A guy in Illinois tried to buy a lottery ticket from a vending machine at his grocery store, but the machine malfunctioned and wouldn’t give him the one he wanted.  It would only let him get one kind of ticket, so he bought that instead . . . ended up matching all six numbers in the drawing . . . and won $9.2 million……………. A Canadian man in South Korea broke a world record by walking 38 dogs at once.  He partnered on it with a charity called Korean K9 Rescue in an effort to promote dog adoption.  He had to walk a kilometer to make it official, or just over half-a-mile…………..And finally, speaking of dogs……………. 

A SC therapy dog named Martina just got her own children’s book.  It’s called “Martina’s Purpose” and tells the story of how she was found tangled in barbed wire in an IN snowstorm as a puppy, and went on to become a therapy dog.  All proceeds from the new book will go to organizations like Pockets Full of Sunshine, Hospice Care of the Lowcountry and the shelter where she was rescued, Waldo’s Motley Crew.
