M.I.T. announced that starting next fall, they’re waiving tuition for families that make less than $200,000 a year.  They say that includes around 80% of incoming students.  Normal tuition is around $60,000 a year………….. Iowa-based grocery store chain Hy-Vee announced it’s scaling back and getting rid of their self-checkout machines at a bunch of locations.  They said they’re doing it to promote more “face-to-face interaction” with people and to provide a better customer experience……………..And finally……………… 

Lily-Rae, a 12-year-old British schoolgirl who is losing her sight, had her favorite actress help her fulfill her “visual bucket list”. Her mom, Emma, was raising money to pay for as many visual experiences as possible, and Kate Winslet donated $5K so Lily-Rae could see the Northern Lights, invited her and her mother to join her for a night at the theater in London and  arranged for the girl to feed tigers at a nearby safari park.
