Count your blessings this Thanksgiving: A Seattle college kid managed to walk away unscathed after a huge tree fell on his car last week. He was driving home when it landed on top of his car and crushed it, but there was just enough room, and he wasn’t hurt. It took 90 minutes for firefighters to get him out. A bystander asked if he wanted them to take a picture to remember it by. His car was totaled, but his family’s just happy he’s okay……………. A coffee shop in Middleborough, Massachusetts is in the news after handing out free coffee to anyone who walked through the door dancing. They put a sign up outside that said, “Want a free coffee? Walk in and give us your best dance moves for five seconds.” A video of the highlights is all over TikTok………………And finally……….
A 10-year-old in WI called 911 for an assist with his math homework, and they were able to help him out. Dispatcher Kim Krause explained that 911 was not the appropriate number to call for homework help, but since she’s been out of school for 40 years, she tracked down Deputy Sheriff Chase Mason, who was in the area and agreed to take a look at the homework. Together the deputy and the child were able to solve the decimal related math problems.
