A mom in Florida recently went to a theme park with her six-week-old son, Lincoln.  And a random person’s comment saved his life.  A first responder walked up after noticing the kid’s skin looked yellow and jaundiced. He told her don’t panic, but get him to a doctor, so she did, and it turned out he has a genetic disorder that affects your liver and heart.  It could have killed him, but it’s manageable with medication……………. The California Highway Patrol posted photos after three cops helped a woman give birth on the side of the interstate last Wednesday.  They said they turned the shoulder into an “impromptu delivery room.”  The mom and her new daughter Isabel are both doing great……………And finally………….. 

An Alaska woman, Esther Sanderlin, has helped make sure that neighbors in remote areas had a happy Thanksgiving – by air-dropping them frozen turkeys as she flew by in her plane.  It’s the third year she’s done it. She said she was visiting a neighbor and they were talking about splitting a squirrel three ways for dinner, and how that didn’t really go very far. So she decided, “You know what, I’m going to airdrop them a turkey for Thanksgiving”. This year she dropped 30 to 40 turkeys, all in the effort to ensure no one is forgotten.
