A Pennsylvania couple got married this week, almost 50 years after they got divorced. Fay Shober and Robert Wenrich originally tied the knot in 1951. They had kids before splitting up in 1975, and they both married other people, but their spouses have since passed away. Robert said Fay was, quote, “the first love of my life. I never thought I’d get her back. And now that I did, I’m not wasting any time.” Their wedding was Sunday…………… In moving day news: A mathematician in South Korea may have finally solved the “moving sofa problem.” It’s about finding the largest possible sofa shape that could be moved around the corner of a hallway. A 32 year old UK woman named Jessica Riggs needs back surgery to treat a rare disease which could leave her paralyzed. It’ll cost $32,000 to have the treatment in Spain, as it’s not available through the National Health Service. Her friends got together to help her make a nude calendar, inspired by the movie “Calendar Girls”, to raise money to pay for it. They’re all naked, but strategically covered up. Jessica is now due to have surgery in Barcelona on January 16 next year. She said “It is incredible how strangers are so generous.”
