A woman in Alabama gave birth in a Krispy Kreme parking lot on Wednesday.  She and her son Dallas are doing great.  Krispy Kreme is giving them free donuts for a year, and offered to throw him a birthday party every year until he’s 18…………… Cool news for women’s sports – interest is surging, and not just from other women.  52% of adults under 25 now say they’re interested in watching or attending a women’s sporting event.  Basketball is the most popular sport right now, followed by golf and UFC.  34% of men say they follow the WNBA at least “somewhat” closely, up from just 12% five years ago…………….And finally…………. 

A wildlife photographer in Canada saved a goose that had an arrow stuck in its butt for over half-a-year.  He saw it over the summer and decided he was saving it no matter what.  He tried to catch it a few times with a net he made out of a hula hoop, but that didn’t work, so he got someone with a net gun to come out with him. A vet removed the arrow, which turned out to be a “practice” arrow with a blunt tip.  They say they’ll release the goose back into the wild as soon as it’s ready.
