CNN did a big profile on a college basketball player named Baileigh Sinaman-Daniel, who was born with one arm.  She plays for Lesley University in Massachusetts.  She got cut from her high school team her senior year, and says it just motivated her even more.  She recently became the first female player with one arm to make a basket in a division-three game. ………. Actor Steve Carell teamed up with a charity to cover the cost of prom tickets for high school kids in an area devastated by the California wildfires.  Carrell and a charity called Alice’s Kids bought tickets for every senior at the six high schools in Altadena, CA……………….And finally………….. 

Talk about an incredible legacy – a guy in Australia named James Harrison was called “The Man with the Golden Arm” because of how much blood he donated. Or technically, blood plasma. He had a rare antibody used to treat a disease in unborn babies. He found out about it as a teenager, and donated around every two weeks until he was 81. James recently passed away at 88, but through his life gave blood 1,173 times, and saved the lives of more than 2.4 MILLION babies.
