Her name is Molly. Her owner used vegan hair dye to make her hot pink. It made her easier to spot, so that was good, but it still took four hours to catch her. Georgetown, KY police officer Rodney Johnson was on patrol last Friday when he noticed traffic slowing down. He saw a woman in a wheelchair struggling to get down the road, so he parked his car, jumped out and pushed her the rest of the way home. A passerby took video and shared it with the Georgetown PD, which posted it on Facebook. Asked about his actions, Johnson said “That’s what we do. We serve and protect the community. We help people that need to be helped and sometimes when people can’t help themselves, we step in and we provide that help that they need.”
