A guy in England tried to rob a convenience store last week, but a 42-year-old woman was buying candy and happened to be a fifth-degree black belt. She’s also trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and boxing. She landed one big kick and chased him out of the store. Local police gave her a commendation for it……………….A nine-year-old kid in Raleigh, NC did the Heimlich on his friend and saved his life last week. His name is Jayceon Branch. He was playing basketball at recess, and his friend took a bite of a granola bar. Jayceon immediately saw he was choking, and did the Heimlich hard enough to lift him up off the ground. He says he learned it watching YouTube……………. And finally………..
Speaking of our state, Guinness revealed it’s home to the world’s oldest llama, at least in captivity. His name is Whitetop, and he’ll be 28 in May. Whitetop works as an emotional support llama to cheer up kids with cancer, genetic disorders, heart disease children who are burn survivors and more.
