An OK kid called 911 and asked for “EMERGENCY DONUTS.” Little Bennett was playing with an old phone that could still make emergency calls, and while he hung up the first time, he called back and kept saying “emergency donuts.” The 911 operator tried to get his mom on the phone, but couldn’t. The police posted the audio on Facebook and asked other parents to be careful with old cell phones. But Bennett didn’t get in any trouble for it – they posted a second clip the next day of two cops showing up at his house with Dunkin’………………. Food scientists are working on a new type of grapefruit that doesn’t mess with medications. People on some cholesterol and blood pressure meds can’t have it. A 27-year-old woman in Miami recently showed up at an animal shelter and asked for the oldest dog they had. The 12-year-old pup’s name is Jackie. She looks like a lab, or some kind of mix. She’d been there three months. The woman shared a video of her to encourage more people to adopt senior pets. She’s got two other dogs, and they all get along great. (Here’s the video.)
