The birthday edition! The world’s oldest penguin, Spneb, turned 37 last week and got a special cake made of fish.  She’s lived at a zoo in England since 1988.  Her species usually lives 10 to 15 years in the wild…………… A guy near Niagara Falls named Burdett Sisler just turned 110 years old, and 250 people showed up for his party.  When he turned 105, his goal was to make it to 110.  Now he’s shooting for 115.  His advice to anyone younger than him . . . so, everyone . . . is to remember the Golden Rule:  Treat people the way you’d like to be treated……………And finally……….

CA kiddo Maxx Raser was approaching his tenth birthday when he saw a story about an area man who was completing 30 acts of kindness to celebrate his 30th birthday. Maxx decided to do ten acts to celebrate his tenth. He made sandwiches in a homeless shelter, ran a bingo game for vets, made care packages for the Ronald McDonald Foundation and more. For his tenth act, Maxx organized an event called Pledges For Pucks to help the families of the ice skating community who lost loved ones in January’s plane crash. He and his hockey buddies gathered 67 pledges (one for each person who died in the crash) and raised close to $5,000. But Maxx says he’s not done doing good. “This isn’t the end. I tell my mom that every day.”
