A construction crew in Ecuador used a front-end loader to save a dog trapped in floodwaters this month, and the whole thing is on video.  One of them sat in the bucket while they lowered it into a canal, and managed to grab the dog as it went by………… Over the weekend, a Southwest pilot let a five-year-old cancer survivor named Luke Liedy use the intercom before a flight out of Fort Lauderdale, and the video is pretty cute.  He told everyone, “Welcome aboard.  We’re going to North Carolina!” The family is from the Apex area……….And finally……………
