Firefighters in Indiana saved a goose that got frozen to the ground on the shores of Lake Michigan last week.  They took it to a wildlife rehab place for treatment, and it should be okay……………… A woman in West Virginia named Sharon Day just got her wallet back 54 years after she lost it at a high school dance.  A contractor found it while renovating the building.  He tracked her down on Facebook a week later……………………And finally…………. 

Polaris the black shepherd dog had people lining up to sign adoption papers and give him a new home after he was left at San Francisco International Airport. The dog arrived along with a traveler and was left behind at the airport, after being abandoned in the international terminal. United Airlines teamed up with the San Francisco SPCA to complete all the procedures necessary to bring Polaris into the country. 30 United employees applied for adoption, but Polaris ended up at the home of Captain William Dale and his family.
