Disneyland honored a ticket for free admission that a guy got in 1985 and saved for 39 years. He recorded his 18-year-old daughter using it to get in. The guy at the ticket booth had to call his boss over to make sure it was legit. The dad won the free pass while visiting Disneyland for their 30th anniversary on August 28th, 1985. He put it in a scrapbook and forgot about it until his daughter said she wanted to go, and mentioned how expensive tickets are now. They range from $104 to $194, depending on when you go…………… A dad in West Virginia broke a state record with a 47-pound catfish he caught while using his three-year-old daughter’s pink fishing pole……………And finally……………..
Savannah Strother, a 15-year-old babysitter in MO was watching her neighbor’s kids last month when their house caught fire, but she got their one-year-old and three-year-old out, along with the family dog – and a security camera got it on video. Her local fire department gave her a “hero” award this week, along with a $500 check. Savannah is the oldest of her siblings and says she feels like she just did what anyone would have done.
