A father and his young son won an annual treasure hunt in Utah, finding $25,000 hidden under a rock.  It’s been going on since June, and new clues get released each week.  The dad says he’ll use the money for back-to-school shopping, and for his kids’ college fund……….. Multiple cops in Orange County, Florida dove into a lake to rescue a woman from a submerged truck.  It happened August 8th, and they just released the chest-cam footage.  The truck was fully submerged, and they had to break the windows underwater to get her out……………And finally……………. 

A guy canoeing his way across Canada found a dog stuck in the mud on a riverbank last month. Tom Hudson said that he heard a very faint barking and decided to investigate. Trapped under a large log and mostly submerged in the water, he saw a dog he that later learned was a 14-year-old Great Pyrenees named Ivy, who had recently gone missing from her nearby home. Hudson got the dog into his canoe, paddled to the next dock and dropped Ivy off. He walked to the nearest house and rang the bell – and the person who answered was Ivy’s owner. He’d been looking for her for a day and a half.
