Donna Osbourne, a 75-year-old PA woman, was supposed to fly to Florida for a vacation, but her flight got delayed multiple times while she was at the airport, so she decided to skip the trip and went home. And it’s a good thing she did, because she ended up buying a lottery ticket and won $5 MILLION.  Now she’s planning a much bigger vacation to Alaska.  She also recently beat cancer, so things are really looking up for her…………….Two male flamingos successfully hatched an egg at a zoo in England and are now raising the chick together.  Zookeepers think they took over after another flamingo couple abandoned the egg…………..And finally…………….. 

A stray Labrador retriever tried to board a doggy daycare bus in Georgia last month, and then started running alongside it.  The dog was known in town, and residents kept him fed and gave him a place to sleep. Sadie Peace, a regular customer at Keller Creek Dog Boarding, had been looking for a companion for her yellow lab, Nelli, so she took the stray to a local vet. He was chipped, but it turned out that his owners didn’t want him anymore, so Sadie and her boyfriend adopted him.  They’re calling him Waylon, and he got his wish – he now gets to ride the bus to daycare with a bunch of new friends……….
