A 24-year-old guy in the U.K. lost over 230 pounds to help his sister get a new kidney.  At 437 pounds, he was too heavy to donate, so he changed his diet, started exercising, and got down to 204. He’s not a match with his sister, so he can’t give her his kidney directly.  But now he can donate to someone else and be part of a kidney swap. ………………….. A utility worker in Canada recently used a bucket truck to save a cat stuck on top of a utility pole.  It happened in Kelowna, 170 miles east of Vancouver.  The local Humane Society posted a video of it online.  They think the cat scaled the pole to get away from some coyotes………………..And finally……………. 

Some lowlife in Chesapeake, VA robbed a kids’ lemonade stand this month and ran off with their money, about $40.  But the community stepped up –  25 bicyclists dropped in, a group of more than 100 bikers showed up, first responders came out in droves, and in one day, they brought in $6,200 in sales. They plan to use the money for their older sister’s upcoming missionary trip to Asia, and the rest will buy a four-wheeler and a dirt bike for the kids. The thief was found and arrested.
