An NC woman posted a video after showing up at her aunt’s door and surprising her with a sign that said, “It’s a go . . . Kidney buddies for life.” An Amazon driver happened to be dropping off a package, and it turned out he ALSO received a life-saving kidney transplant 25 years ago………………… A wild cockatoo flew into a grocery store in Sydney, Australia, and was stuck inside for almost a month.  He couldn’t find his way out and wouldn’t let anyone catch him.  A manager kept him alive by leaving water and bread out each night. They eventually caught him by bringing in a second cockatoo named Doris, and she calmed him down enough to be caught.  A shelter is taking care of him, with plans to release him back into the wild soon……………And finally……….. 

Massachusetts police borrowed two boats to save a dog that jumped in a cold lake on October 19th and almost drowned.  They used a drone to track it until they could get there and pick it up.  The dog’s owner said it swam too far out and got stranded after chasing some geese into the water. The owner went in after the dog, but the water was too cold, and the dog was too far out for the owner to reach him. Both the dog and owner are doing well, and the geese the dog was chasing – well, they were unharmed.
