Now, everyone in their neighborhood is getting in on the skeleton display action, and it’s become such an attraction that the city asked businesses to put out their best skeleton decorations for a competition that residents will vote on………………Kids in Des Moines, Iowa will get to trick-or-treat ON Halloween for the first time in 86 years.  The city banned doing it on the 31st in 1938 to curb issues with vandalism, and it worked, so they kept the ban in place. It’s usually done on October 30th and called “Beggar’s Night”, and the kids have to tell a joke to get candy. They pushed it to today because of bad weather, but maybe it will catch on and Halloween trick-or-treating will be reinstated……………….And finally………..

Have you heard of the MOMbies? They’re a group of about 50 CT mothers dressed as zombies, who created the phenomenon ‘dance to donate’ to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research through the Cancer Couch Foundation. Each year they use the streets of their town as their dance floor – last year they performed “Thriller”, and this year, they’re doing “Stayin’ Alive”. Their videos have racked up millions of views, and since 2016, they’ve raised over $500,000 for breast cancer research.
