If you get pulled over in Connecticut this month, you might get a gift card instead of a ticket.  Cops in six Connecticut towns are surprising people who get pulled over for minor infractions.  They said Santa might even show up…………….. Wisdom, the world’s oldest bird, recently laid an egg at age 74.  She’s a Laysan albatross that lives on an island in the Pacific, 1,200 miles northwest of Hawaii.  She was tagged in 1958 and might even be older than 74.  She’s hatched more than 30 chicks in her life with multiple mates.  The type of bird she is normally lives 12 to 40 years………..And finally……….

Two brothers in northern MI spent over two hours saving a deer that fell through the ice on Lake Huron. They were very careful – checking the ice on the way in and out, wearing ice gear that floats, had ice picks, a ladder, rope, jet sleds and somebody watching and assisting from shore.  They cheered when she sprinted off . . . then watched her fall through AGAIN.  So they ended up saving her twice.
