Someone in San Antonio went on Reddit to vent after their bike got stolen last week. It was their only way to get to work, and they couldn’t afford a new one. But an hour later, they shared an update after someone who saw the post gifted them a bike. The update said there were actually “many, many, many” people who reached out to offer one up…………… A woman in the U.K. posted a video after her grandfather passed away last year, and her family honored him by putting his ashes in fireworks. The man had always wanted a Viking funeral, but that wasn’t possible, so they decided this was a fitting substitute. They went to the beach and set them off at his favorite spot……………….And finally…………..
The “L.A. Times” did a story on a woman named Annie Harvilicz, who’s been taking in pets displaced by the Palisades Fire near Malibu. She runs two vet clinics in the area, and one was empty, so she posted on Facebook offering to take in any pets that had to be evacuated. She says tons of people have reached out for help in the past two days, but even more have reached out offering to help. (If you want to help out from afar, you can donate through her website, AnimalWellnessFoundation.org.)
