A Canadian couple who got married in 1968 just saw their wedding photos for the first time. Margaret and Barry Sharman didn’t have enough money to buy their photos back then, and never even got to look at them. One of Margaret’s bridesmaids works at a museum now, and someone randomly donated the photos after buying them at a yard sale. Margaret and Barry finally got to relive their wedding day last month on Christmas Eve. …………….A woman from Virginia recently got her Heathcliff lunchbox back more than 40 years after she lost it at school. A plumber found it tucked inside the access panel of a wall. The school was able to track her down because her mom wrote her name inside it………….And finally……………
A Dallas woman reached out to thank Delta for helping her say goodbye to her mom, who passed away in October. She was trying to get to Bismarck, ND to see her when her flight got delayed, so she would have missed her connection. But the pilot heard about it and got in touch with the next pilot, who agreed to hold the plane 30 minutes until she got there. They also bumped her to first class, so she could get off the plane faster. Her mom passed away the next day. She wrote online that “Delta’s kindness” gave her 24 extra hours with her, and let her say “I love you” one last time. Quote, “Thank you, Delta. You gave me the gift of time.”
